Hesham Yassin,
I was 13 years old when I learned my first programming language – C. implementing bubble sort and finding the maximum number in an array was my first experience in the field. I soon realized I can use C to build computer games and even complex programs. There my voyage started, under the motto, “bringing ideas into reality”.
Years later, I found myself graduating from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology with a B.Sc.Eng in Computer science and Information Systems with honors distinction.
I transitioned my student job at CheckPoint Software Technologies into a full-time software engineer. After 3 years there, I joined the Watson Health department of IBM, as an experienced software engineer and lead developer for a DBaaS project. I had the privilege of working in Microsoft and Amazon on cutting edge technologies, until I finally found my true passion in General Motors, working on the future of mobility.
Throughout my career, I shared my passion for programming with the rest of the world. Read more about my adventures in my blog – exhesham.com or connect/follow me on LinkedIn.
I can’t believe that only now did I discover this blog. Well done Hesham!
